Burke Museum Store Installation
In winter of 2025, my Ancestral Quill Jewelry and fine art prints were officially installed in the Burke Museum’s store!
This stunning museum, affiliated with the Smithsonian and located at the University of Washington in unceded Si’ahl (Seattle), is incredibly dear to my heart.
With a focus on culture and history, it tends and showcases rich global Indigenous art, textiles, and stories (told by, rather than for, Indigenous peoples); fossils, dinosaurs, and interactive archaeology exhibits; flora, creatures, and organisms; and brilliant visible research laboratories. The museum is a wonderful, vibrant place to experience solo or with family, friends, and community.

I am truly honored to join each of the other phenomenal artists in the store and over the moon that my work has found a home alongside Off The Rez cafe.
Off The Rez is Si’ahl’s “first Native owned cafe and food truck", and I absolutely love their Braised Bison Wild Rice Bowl with a glass of house made Cedar Blackberry Tea. (Pro Tip: ask to purchase a tea box with 6 bags to go!)
Come explore this lovely museum, see my work in person, and visit Off The Rez for a bite to eat!
Visit Off The Rez cafe inside the Burke Museum, and see my earrings and prints directly across the way (through the glass, just beyond the front desk).

From my most recent trip to the Burke; exploring this exhibit was deeply grounding, healing, and inspiring. Kči Wə̀liwəni for this beautiful experience!
